We would like to Congratulate Alexis Kirby for
leasing Ima Kool Kisser for 2010. Her daughters, Sidney and Avery,
will be showing "Lizzie" in Leadline and the 8 & under classes this
year. Barbara will be showing Evanescence in driving this year, (a
big thank you to Kay Schwink of Virginia for training this mare to
pull a cart!) and she will continue to show Foreva A Designer
Diamond in halter. "Jr." had a very successful year in halter in
2009, earning all his Grands for an ROM in Halter. He just needs a
few more regional and state points to achieve the ROM. "Jr." is such
a looker and a sweetheart, even though he is a two year old stud! We
are still unsure if we want to breed him, or turn him into a
performance show pony...maybe we'll do both! We are still discussing
which mares to breed this year. We still have a few stellar
broodmares including Kiss This, DBL D's Git R Dun, Be Tee's Nellie
and JBJ's Busy Body Brick. We are considering breeding our solid
mares to Docs Diamond Stud (Sire of "Jr.") who is a terrific few
spot stallion in Ohio. We may breed Kiss back to Zippos Kool Kash
for a full sibling to Ima Kool Kisser, and are also considering a
Zippos Kool Kash x DBL Ds Git R Dun baby. There are so many
wonderful potential crosses, but at the end of the day we have to
figure out how much time we will have available to spend with the
babies when they come next year in 2011. We've got a few months to
think about it.

The summer is just getting started, and we have
many projects for this year. We do not have any foals this year, so
we will have more time to break and train our older "kids". We will
be showing Designer Diamond in the yearling colt classes and Hope N
for Kash in the yearling filly classes. "Hope" was born solid bay,
but has colored out this spring with spots all over! Hope's FULL
sister, Ima Kool Kisser, is now a 3 year old, and she will be in
training until sold. Evanescence is currently being broke to ride
and went to her first show under saddle. She had a great performance
at Noah's Ark Hunter/Jumper show in Knoxville, TN. She came home
with three 1st place ribbons and a 5th place (out of 11 horses, in
her very first canter class!). She has done an incredible job with
only 3 weeks of riding under her belt. The next project for the
summer is DBL D's Git R Dun aka "Dunni". She is a nice big 4 year
old dun mare with frost, she will be trained until sold. We
currently 7 POAs for sale. Check out the "For Sale" page!

The show season is officially over. We had a
great year putting points on our young ponies this season. Bling It
On has all of his Grands and is half way to his ROM (H). We are
planning to breed him to a few mares in the spring.
Bugdacious has accumulated almost 300 halter points this year, along
with many in-hand trail points. Our 2008 colt, Designer Diamond, has
2 Grands and 2 Reserves from his limited showing this fall. Lastly,
our 2 year old mare, Ima Kool Kisser, had a great year in JPFC
winning the Southeast Regional Trail class.
We have also
sold many of our ponies this year. This year, our ponies went
to Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, New Jersey, Arkansas, Michigan,
Iowa, Kentucky and even Canada! Thank you to everyone who purchased
a pony from us this year and to everyone who is expecting a foal out
of Zippos Kool Kash! We are looking forward to showing some next
summer and breeding a few mare to Bling It On and Zippos Kool Kash.
We still have a few nice broodmares and young prospects for sale.
Below is a letter from one of our customers:
"Dear Eva, I got Patzi's papers back and my first issue of the POA
magazine. Patzi is a real doll. I absolutely love her and so do all
my neighbors and the farrier. My only problem is she won't let me
get any good pictures of her. The minute I go in the field or near
the fence she comes right up for attention. She also has this odd
love of horse wormer. She grabs the end of the tube and doesn't even
want to let go when I'm done. She is just so cute. I haven't had a
chance to drive her yet but this next week my neighbor is going to
give me a hand. I will have to be careful as she is now starting to
show her pregnancy. I can't thank you enough! She is everything I
could ask for and more. Everyone is shocked that I bought her over
the Internet and never saw her in person. I tell them about your
farm and that I felt I didn't need to see her in person because I
felt you were very reputable. Patzi is everything you told me and
more. She has a wonderful personality. I'm including a couple of
pictures I took of her this evening before she spotted me. I'll keep
you updated. You are more than welcome to use my name and
phone number as a reference for any potential clients. Again, I
Thank You!
Sincerely,
Bernice Bajda

Congratulations to Wendy Kelly and family on
purchasing Foreva A First Kiss! Her daughter will be riding and
competing with her new pony in Alabama. This little mare was a
pleasure to break, train and show, but we are happy that she will
continue her show carreer with a new youth! We also have placed two
of our broodmares, Kids Double Sweet and Simply Elegant, in the
International Sale. The sale is in Des Moines, IA on October 10th
and 11th. If you have any questions regarding any of our ponies,
please send an email or give us a call.

We would like to congratulate Jan Crutcher of
Columbia, TN on her purchase of A Splash of Chanel. This filly is a
full brother to Bling It On out of World Champion Producer Plaudits
Gold Bug and International Futurity Producer JBJ's Busy Body Brick.
This filly has the looks and the disposition that everyone is
looking for. She and Jan will make a great in-hand team in 2009!

This first of May finds us in good spirits. We
have two beautiful foals and are waiting on one more due around the
end of May. We sold Plaudits Gold Patzi to a lady in New Jersey. She
plans to drive Patzi and show her at the North East POA shows. We
are also gearing up for a fun show season. Our first two TNPOA shows
went well. Our 2 year old JPFC mare is doing great and our two
yearlings are showing their stuff in in-hand trail classes. We have
decided to sell more of our POAs. Vet School will be too
time-consuming to raise 5 foals a year! We are trimming back our
herd by about 15, so check out the new ones on the sale page!

We have some sad news to announce. Little Boy's Thunder Run died in
February of Colic. We sold him last summer to a great POA family in
Illinois. He is truly missed! On a happier note, our first foal was
born April 2nd. She is a solid bay filly out of Zippos Kool Kash and
Kiss This. She will definitely roan out with color. We have name her
Hope N For Kash. Her full sister, Ima Kool Kisser, is currently
under saddle and will be shown in the 2 year old JPFC classes.
This season we are planning on selling most of the broodmares to
make some time for breaking our prospects. We have a list of 4 or 5
to get started under saddle this year. Kay Schwink is partnering up
with us to break some of ours to drive. I will be bringing down a
few of her super nice geldings to work with. We plan to have a lot
of nice junior ponies for sale this year! Our next foal is due at
the end of April, so check back!

Hello everyone and welcome to our new and improved website! We now
have a new address (www.forevafarm.com) and a new site designer!
Please make note of this change. We are having difficulty getting
our previous site taken down, so I guess it will continue to sit
there... Anyway, we are expecting three foals this spring out of
Kiss This, JBJ's Busy Body Brick and Be Tee's Nellie. We are
planning to take a break from breeding after this year to
concentrate on breaking and training our youngsters. As a result, we
have many fine broodmares for sale in addition to our usual stock of
prospects.
We would like to congratulate Tom Flaig of Kentucky on his purchase
of Plaudits Gold Bug. We are happy to bring in a new family to POA
and to have Bugs so close! We are looking forward to a great year of
showing. This new website will get the attention it deserved and
will be updated more frequently than the last (I promise!). Take a
look around and feel free to contact us if you would like to visit
the farm.
